The truth about a video of media figure Yaman al-Sayyed on Syrian citizens' income

Accounts and pages on social media circulated a video of media figure Yaman al-Sayyed, saying that the Syrian citizen's income is no less than any European citizen's, and that the services provided in Syria are no less than those in the Gulf, Europe, or the United States.

A still from the circulating clip of media figure Yaman al-Sayyed

The fact-checking team reviewed Yaman al-Sayyed's official accounts and returned to the original version of the statement, and found that the circulating clip was taken out of context, and that al-Sayyed was speaking of a future vision of what Syria should reach, saying that work would continue until the Syrian citizen's income is no less than that of the Gulf and European citizen, and until the services provided to the Syrian citizen are no less than those provided to the European and Gulf citizen, and he did not state that this reality had already been achieved.

Why is this claim misleading?

Excerpting out of context: Part of a statement about future goals was cut out and presented as a description of an existing reality, changing the meaning of the original remarks and suggesting that income and service levels in Syria had become equal to those in Europe and the Gulf.
