Accounts on social media circulated a report claiming that seven members of "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" had been killed as a result of internal disputes and clashes, and attached to the report a video showing a vehicle belonging to the Road Security Service with bullet damage on it.

The fact-checking team followed the report and verified it through a keyword search and a reverse search of the attached video, and found that the vehicle shown in the claim's video is the same vehicle in which four members of the Road Security Service were killed after being targeted by unknown gunmen on the Salamiyah-Ithriya road in the Hama countryside, with the same vehicle appearing in obituary clips for the security personnel.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) also confirmed that unknown gunmen targeted a Road Security Service vehicle, killing four members, who were buried from Hama National Hospital.
Why is this claim misleading?
Changing the context: The claim recirculated footage of the targeting of a Road Security Service vehicle on the Salamiyah-Ithriya road in the Hama countryside, and attached to it unreliable information about internal fighting within "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" and a different death toll, in order to suggest that armed internal disputes had taken place.
