The "Jethro Press" platform published a video it claimed documented recent movements of Israeli occupation army patrols in the streets of Quneitra, coinciding with what it described as an expansion of the security belt areas and the spread of patrols and tanks and the setting up of checkpoints.
The Kashaf team traced the circulating video and carried out digital tracking that included breaking it into still frames and running a reverse search on them, and found that the clip was posted by the content creator "Nassif Abdul Aziz" on 12 February 2025 and documents an incursion by an Israeli force in Quneitra.
Why Is the Report Misleading?
Out of its temporal context: the claim relied on re-presenting an older clip as documenting current movements, since the information it carried does not match the date and context of the video's actual publication, in order to suggest a new escalation on the ground in Quneitra.
