Sakhr Iqab Abu Habla is being tried on charges of taking part in killings in the Damascus and Hama countryside. Mohammad Islam Arnaouti, a Political Security officer, faces charges of committing crimes against humanity over the arrest and abduction of civilians whose fate remains unknown, while Asef Mustafa Mohammad, an officer at the Military College, is being tried on charges of taking part in systematic massacres in Damascus and forming a criminal gang. He denied taking part, stressing that he fled before the fall of the regime. Both men denied the charges, and 14/10/2026 was set as the date of their next sessions.
