Accounts on social media circulated a report attributed to the "Reuters" news agency, stating that the "ISIS" organization is redeploying its cells in several Syrian areas, including the Palmyra desert in central Syria, Deir ez-Zor, and the Maadan desert in the Raqqa countryside, with indications of rising activity by the organization in those areas.
The Kashaf team followed up on the report and reviewed what "Reuters" has published, in addition to searching open sources using keywords related to the content of the claim. No published report or statement containing the circulating information was found, and search results on the "Reuters" website and its official accounts showed nothing confirming that this report was published.
