The Kashaf team carried out field verification by contacting a source inside the People's Assembly, who denied the circulating claims. The source explained that the Assembly's budget allocation has not yet been approved, which negates the claim about salary cuts. He also confirmed that allocating vehicles to members is not an established practice in the Assembly; members are instead issued special identification plates. On housing, the source said arrangements to secure accommodation for members are being finalised in the coming days, and denied that a businessman had covered their hotel costs.

Why is this claim misleading?

Inaccurate information: The claim relayed details and statements that contradict the financial and administrative procedures actually in force inside the People's Assembly.
