An Israeli column of 12 vehicles advanced on the morning of Thursday, October 1, 2026, through Saida al-Jawlan in the southern Quneitra countryside, heading to the villages of the Yarmouk Basin in the western Daraa countryside. It passed through Jamla and Abidin and then Maariya before withdrawing, with no arrests or house searches recorded.
This follows incursions and artillery shelling carried out by Israeli forces in the Quneitra countryside over the past few days, including the arrest of a young man in the village of al-Hurriya, who was released on Thursday.
