Accounts on social media circulated a video whose publishers claimed it showed tribal reinforcements from the Al-Baggara tribe to confront the Revolutionary Youth affiliated with the SDF, against the backdrop of a revenge incident, in reference to the killing of Siban Hazni, a member of the Syrian Ministry of Defense from the Al-Hasakah brigade formerly affiliated with the SDF, at the hands of tribal gunmen.

The fact-checking team traced the clip through a reverse search, and it emerged that the video was published about a year ago as part of an introductory video about the Al-Baggara tribe, and has no connection to current developments.
Why is this claim misleading?
Out of temporal context: The claim relied on republishing an old clip and lifting it out of its temporal and topical context, in order to tie it to a current incident it has nothing to do with.
