Accounts and pages on social media circulated a video, with its publishers claiming it recently documents the Israeli army taking control of the center of the city of Daraa.
Kashaf’s team examined the circulating clip and broke it down into still frames for a reverse-image search to establish the facts. The results showed that the video is misleading and was used entirely outside its temporal and geographic context: the clip originally shows the movements of an Israeli occupation army military convoy near the Quneitra governorate building, and it was previously posted on May 25, 2025 — ruling out any connection to events or incursions inside central Daraa.
