Kashaf's team followed up on the report through verification, searching relevant keywords and digitally tracing official sources, finding that the Ministry of Interior announced that the explosion was caused by an explosive device that detonated inside a cafe in the capital, Damascus, where Internal Security Forces patrols and ambulance teams headed to the scene of the incident immediately after the report was received, to evacuate the wounded and provide the necessary first aid.
Why is this claim misleading?
