The truth about Turkish forces withdrawing from a military base in Tal Abyad and burning it

Accounts and pages on social media platforms circulated reports claiming that Turkish forces evacuated and ceased operations at one of their military bases in the Tal Abyad countryside in northeastern Syria, withdrew from it, and burned it down completely upon leaving.

The Kashaf team contacted a source at the Raqqa Media Directorate to verify the accuracy of the circulating news reports about the evacuation of the military base. The source categorically denied these reports, affirming that no unusual military movements or withdrawals of Turkish forces from their positions in the Tal Abyad area of the Raqqa countryside had been recorded. The source explained that the bases in question are operating at full capacity and have witnessed no burning operations or departures.

Why is this claim misleading?

Fabrication of field reports: The circulating claim deliberately spreads false information and fabricates events about military withdrawals and the burning of sites belonging to Turkish forces in northern Syria, in order to suggest changes in the map of field control and to mislead public opinion about the security reality in the region.
